Yoga Therapy/Yoga Cikitsa

 

Yoga Therapy is a combination of the healing sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Yoga and Ayurveda, both part of Vedic knowledge, were developed over time more than 5000 years ago.

Like sister sciences, they work together on different levels (physical, emotional, mental) considering the individual as a whole, treating the person in its uniqueness.

 

In Yoga Therapy, I work with the individual, designing a specific practice regime that includes yogic practices, lifestyle routine and recommendations.

The aim of this treatment is to restore balance on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.

As distinct from general Yoga classes, I assess, manage and provide on-going support to best facilitate change in regards to individual needs, creating awareness so that the regular practice of Yoga becomes continual preventions from ‘dis-ease’.
